Answer

Yes! The library is open to the public; however, CT residents must register for a Guest Borrower card in order to check out materials. Guest borrowing privileges  are available to Connecticut residents who are over 18 years of age and out of high school. A valid Connecticut driver's license or photo ID must be presented when applying for a card. Upon application, a card will be mailed to you within five (5) working days. Cards will not be issued to anyone who has outstanding Library or University charges.
